Director - Environmental Health & Safety

Location: Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. Relocation assistance is available. Travel: 10–15%.

Salary: $138,064–$230,108 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Develop a rolling five-year global safety strategy aligned with corporate objectives and the safety vision.
• Lead EH&S Managers responsible for environmental, safety, and occupational health standards, training, and certifications across global operations.
• Use data-driven insights and trend analysis to guide safety initiatives, operational decisions, process improvements, and capital investments.
• Lead the Global Safety Council and expand the Safety Champions network through experiential learning and formal training.
• Develop and implement safety management systems integrated into daily operational practices.
• Strengthen the culture of safety through risk mitigation and manufacturing process re-engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive, strategic Environmental Health & Safety leadership experience.
• Experience leading and expanding safety culture programs in a multi-site manufacturing company.
• Proven experience implementing and using Safety Management Systems.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies at all levels.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• 15 years of progressive safety management experience, including senior leadership in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization.
• Ergonomic injury prevention experience.
• OSHA VPP Star certification experience.
