Environmental Health & Safety Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite 5 days per week at the Medway, Massachusetts facility, United States

Compensation range: $69,200–$128,600 annually, with potential eligibility for additional annual incentives.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental health and safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, federal, and state EHS regulations.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Organize and document safety audits, inspections, assessments, and training programs.
• Track EHS metrics and report progress toward organizational objectives.
• Partner with manufacturing and field personnel and participate in Lean initiatives to prevent and resolve EHS issues.

Requirements

• Ideally 3+ years of experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, facilities management, environmental studies, safety, or a related industrial field.
• Knowledge of EHS principles and standard processes for metal fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal and state laws.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, audits, inspections, reporting, and corrective-action tracking.
• Ability to use EHS software, databases, and digital tools for training, inspections, and compliance tracking.
