Site Lead, EHS

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; dedicated on-site position with consistent presence required

Salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead site-wide environmental health and safety programs and serve as the primary EHS subject matter expert.
• Deliver hands-on EHS training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Conduct and support inspections, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental compliance programs covering air, water, hazardous waste, monitoring, reporting, and permitting.
• Partner with facilities, engineering, and operations on projects, process changes, MOC, FMEA, PSSR, and risk controls.
• Track EHS performance metrics, maintain management systems and audits, manage the annual EHS budget, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, science, engineering, or a related EHS discipline.
• At least 7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; 10+ years preferred.
• Hands-on experience with safety and environmental compliance programs, including air, water, and hazardous waste regulations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Experience with hazardous materials and chemical safety, incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory inspections.
• Must work on site in Chaska to support manufacturing operations; hirify.global does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar.
• Plastics manufacturing experience, including molding.
