Business Analysis - Mortgage Technology

Location: Remote

Annual full-time base salary: $80,000–$100,000

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and document system and user requirements from business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Senior Business Analysts, application analysts, and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Create and maintain user stories and translate business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
• Support agile development and QA teams, sprint delivery, UAT testing, demo preparation, and test progress reporting.
• Investigate system usage, overrides, exceptions, validation handling, errors, and performance issues.
• Track projects, communicate risks and delays, and proactively prevent delivery roadblocks.

Requirements

• College degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry or relevant experience, typically at Analyst or Senior Analyst level.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage, technology, or the secondary market.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organization, teamwork, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based systems, and Excel.
• Flexibility for a flexible schedule and limited travel.

Nice to have

• Training in finance or mortgage banking.
• QA or Technology Analyst experience at hirify.global.
