Technical Business Analyst (FinTech)

Location: Atlanta, GA; Orlando, FL; or San Diego, CA. Hybrid schedule with onsite work two days per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00–18:00.

Base salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business goals into user stories, data flows, system interface specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Partner with engineering to validate feasibility, design solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Document workflows, API interaction models, system integration points, dependencies, and test case outlines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support QA and UAT by clarifying expected behavior and evaluating test results.
• Identify risks, gaps, and process improvement opportunities while developing subject-matter expertise in assigned products and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in business or technical analysis, ideally in FinTech, SaaS, or enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and systems architecture.
• Experience writing detailed technical specifications and working with APIs, data models, system integration, and relational databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Asana.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple concurrent projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce, Postgres, REST APIs, or other modern technology stacks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps culture, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
• Background in technical project management, product management, or systems analysis.
