Utility Engineer (Rail Engineering)

Location: Fully remote, Irving, Texas, United States; occasional travel to headquarters, field offices, client offices, work sites, and other project-related locations may be required.

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Collect project data and documentation.
• Perform standard computations and technical analyses.
• Prepare or review engineering drawings and visual aids.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Observe construction activities and support project-related work.
• Travel to company, client, and field locations when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience.
• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with email, text communication, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interact effectively with other staff.

Nice to have

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or the ability to obtain it.
