Lead Global Architect - AI Solutions

Location: Hybrid, requiring three days per week in a U.S. hub location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; or Denver, Colorado. Occasional travel under 5% may be required. Flexibility to work outside standard hours is needed to support global teams. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $145,600–$168,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Design cloud and on-premises solution architectures, infrastructure, tools, applications, and enterprise technology services.
• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects, software, data, cloud, and security engineers, and product owners.
• Create reusable, scalable, resilient, and secure architecture artifacts using approved standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Maintain architecture standards, support architecture review board approvals, and contribute to the architecture repository.
• Advise and validate solutions throughout the build, test, deployment, and operations stages of the systems development lifecycle.
• Design APIs and data delivery services for operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications while communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of combined experience in technology solution design, software engineering, and agile or waterfall methodologies.
• At least four years of experience architecting, building, and administering complex solutions in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Solution architecture, technology, or platform certifications, such as AWS or Microsoft.
• Strong analytical, critical, strategic thinking, leadership, communication, relationship-building, conflict-management, and prioritization skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or software development.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI Specification, REST, API design, security, and implementation.
• Software development experience with Java, Python, Scala, Node, or SQL.
