Manager, Vendor Operations & Resource Planning

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana or The Woodlands, Texas; travel throughout Louisiana is required.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage MOT, Hydrovac, and ancillary support vendors for Entergy Resiliency Program projects.
• Develop vendor deployment strategies, resource forecasts, and short- and long-term schedules.
• Coordinate mobilization and resource allocation across multiple projects and work fronts.
• Lead planning meetings and resolve resource conflicts, capacity constraints, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate with Entergy, construction and project leadership, field teams, municipalities, permitting agencies, and utility stakeholders.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, utilization, reporting, contract compliance, and invoice accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in utility construction, infrastructure projects, field operations, vendor management, or related industries.
• 3+ years of experience managing subcontractors, vendors, field resources, or operational support services.
• Experience with MOT, traffic control, Hydrovac, excavation support, or specialty utility contractors.
• Strong understanding of utility construction operations, work planning, and schedule management, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, and operational reporting systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Louisiana.

• Experience supporting Entergy projects or utility resiliency programs.
