Manager, Maintenance and Facilities-2nd Shift (Distribution Center)

Location: Braselton, Georgia, USA; onsite at the Braselton Distribution Center. The role covers a second-shift maintenance operation with occasional night, weekend, holiday hours, and travel to Buckhead or other distribution centers.

What you will do

• Lead maintenance, facilities, grounds, and infrastructure operations for a 1.1 million sq ft distribution center.
• Manage preventive maintenance projects, CMMS inventory, asset management, and maintenance schedules.
• Oversee repairs of distribution center equipment and facility systems, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage external vendors and contracts covering lift equipment, WCS, HVAC, groundskeeping, and related services.
• Support capital expenditure projects, building enhancements, process improvements, and material-handling equipment upgrades.
• Lead and develop at least one maintenance supervisor and at least 20 maintenance employees across operating shifts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to lead employees in a multi-shift environment.
• Working knowledge of maintenance and construction processes, layouts, controls diagrams, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of electrical, gas, and water power sources and OSHA standards for general industry.

• Bachelor's or technical degree.
• Experience with sortation and conveyor systems.
• Strong time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
