What you will do

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor maintenance technicians.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the facility, infrastructure, equipment, and building systems.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, coordinate schedules, and monitor progress to reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate specialized repairs with external contractors and vendors and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits, support continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and spare-parts inventory, including reordering as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with maintenance management software.
  • Understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
  • Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, stand for up to 12 hours per day, and handle physical work involving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Facilities management experience.
  • Technical or vocational training in a maintenance-related field.
  • OSHA safety certification.
