2nd Shift DC Maintenance Tech II (Conveyor Systems)

Location: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center. Full-time, onsite position on the second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Salary: $26.30–$29.62 per hour

What you will do

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance, including wall and floor repairs, lighting replacement, racking repair, and office furniture moves.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and complete preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment.
• Diagnose controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies, and field devices associated with conveyor systems.
• Use maintenance software to troubleshoot, trend, and monitor equipment; document labor, parts, inventory, and work-order completion.
• Perform minor electrical work, including running conduit and pulling wire, and conduct analytical tests on conveyor systems.
• Develop ideas to improve productivity and reliability while coordinating multiple projects and communicating equipment status through pass-down logs.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 4–6 years of industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, controls, and operating systems in a medium-to-large distribution center or manufacturing operation.
• Experience with pneumatics, AC/DC motors, industrial electrical systems, and high- and low-voltage equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with expertise in at least one operational area such as a pick module, VAS, or shipping sorter.
• Valid driver's license and forklift certification.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSHA compliance.
• Conversational Spanish skills.
• Experience with automatic identification systems, including laser scanning devices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
