Senior Energy Advisor

Location: Remote within Canada; the successful candidate must be located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Salary: CAD $33 per hour targeted compensation; compensation range CAD $25.70–$44.55 per hour.

What you will do

• Guide homeowners and contractors through eligibility, documentation, technical requirements, and project completion.
• Provide technical guidance on residential energy efficiency upgrades, building systems, and retrofit requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical questions and resolve project or program-related issues.
• Review documentation, complete data entry, and maintain accurate program records.
• Support QA/QC activities and help ensure project accuracy and program compliance.
• Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders while supporting team training.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Energy Advisor or in residential construction, building upgrades, or energy retrofits.
• Experience with CSA F280-12 load calculations is required.
• Working knowledge of residential buildings, HVAC systems, building science, and energy efficiency upgrades.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with comfort using an iPad, laptop, and digital documentation tools.
• Post-secondary education or relevant industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving background, regular travel availability, and authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship are required.
