What you will do

• Perform on-site residential energy audits of HVAC systems, insulation, windows, lighting, and building envelopes.
• Use diagnostic tools such as blower doors, combustion analyzers, and infrared cameras to assess energy performance.
• Analyze utility data and homeowner usage patterns to prioritize energy-saving recommendations.
• Educate residents about energy-saving opportunities, rebates, and best practices.
• Conduct post-installation inspections to verify the effectiveness of energy upgrades.
• Collaborate with contractors, utility representatives, and program managers to ensure program integrity.

Requirements

• Must be located in Pennsylvania.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Certification as a BPI Building Analyst, RESNET HERS Rater, or equivalent (or ability to acquire within 30 days).
• 2+ years of experience in field services, QA/QC, consulting, or energy efficiency.
• Ability to travel 25% to 75% of the time.
• Strong knowledge of building science and construction.

Nice to have

• Spanish-speaking bilingual skills.
• Experience with SnuggPro.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in energy, construction, or environmental science.
