Safety Trainer

Location: Moreno Valley, California, United States

Salary: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as a liaison between the Safety Department, leadership, production-floor associates, and the on-site temporary agency.
• Assist with creating, implementing, and enforcing OSHA programs and safety standard operating procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, incident investigations, analysis, reporting, and emergency-response activities.
• Coordinate onboarding and deliver classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on training for new hires and PIT operators.
• Validate PIT operators through training, Buddy Training, and final evaluations with leadership.
• Prepare safety communications and support the execution of safety and training programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in safety, training, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite, including Excel.
• Experience with workplace violence and/or business continuity.
• Analytical experience in a performance-based, action-oriented, and results-oriented environment.
• Ability to deliver training in classroom and one-on-one settings.

Nice to have

• Leadership or management experience.
• Warehouse or distribution-center experience.
• Experience with iWarehouse or similar PIT-tracking software.
• OSHA 10/30 and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.
• Raymond Train the Trainer or similar certification; strong English and Spanish communication skills.
