Manufacturing Trainer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Chandler, Arizona, United States. Candidates must be able to work on-site and pass the required ATF background screening process. Only U.S. citizens are eligible due to U.S. Government contract requirements.

Salary: $20.34–$37.74 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on instruction for new mechanical assemblers during their first two weeks on the Chandler training line.
• Deliver onboarding, job-specific, recurring, cross-functional, classroom, and special-skill training.
• Explain work instructions, manufacturing processes, safety practices, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Coordinate training schedules and rotations with supervisors, production leads, and subject matter experts.
• Maintain training records, matrices, employee files, and compliance documentation in MyLearning and the training database.
• Develop training materials and support audits, documentation follow-up, and assigned manufacturing activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least three years of employee-training experience, including hands-on training in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Firsthand manufacturing experience and the ability to demonstrate manual tasks and assess trainee performance.
• Clear verbal and written communication, organization, prioritization, and ownership of training schedules and records.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety, personal protective equipment, and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment under applicable U.S. Government contract requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Experience administering a learning management system or training database.
• Experience creating visual work instructions or delivering group training.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, leadership, or team coaching.
