Location: Edwards Air Force Base, California, United States. Onsite work on 10-hour shifts from Friday through Monday; overtime may be required.
Pay rate: $52.11 per hour

What you will do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing on aircraft mechanical systems and ground support equipment.
- Remove, disassemble, repair, clean, treat for corrosion, assemble, and reinstall aircraft components and accessories.
- Use NASA’s Automated Maintenance Data System (NAMIS) to maintain equipment records and document maintenance actions.
- Read and complete Engineering Work Orders accurately and on schedule.
- Perform aircraft ground support duties, including towing, marshalling, and jacking.
- Follow NASA and company requirements for quality assurance, tool control, housekeeping, foreign object damage prevention, and safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of aircraft maintenance experience with fixed-wing commercial, government, or Department of Defense aircraft.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
- Ability to coordinate with operations engineers and other technically qualified personnel and communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical labor, including standing, walking, climbing aircraft ladders, pulling, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must pass a NASA-administered physical.
