What you will do
- Partner with the CFO and senior finance leadership to prepare monthly company-wide financial presentations.
- Analyze performance drivers, risks, opportunities, revenue variances, margins, cost drivers, and operational KPIs.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly projections, financial modeling, assumption gathering, and company-wide budget rollout.
- Coordinate the Annual 5-Year Plan and prepare bank-facing budget decks covering assumptions, trends, and financial strategy.
- Build PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and reports that communicate financial insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, sales, operations, pricing, and rebate teams on data validation and special analyses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least four years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, plus strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, data interpretation, and financial communication.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, Oracle, or SAP.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, organization, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in chemical manufacturing.
- CPA license.
- Public consulting or accounting experience.
- Experience with financial due diligence and quality of earnings reports.
