What you will do
- Lead annual budgets, quarterly and monthly forecasts, and mid-term business plans for the Mobility Energy Business Division.
- Develop financial metrics covering profitability, cost structure, cash flow, ROIC, and capital expenditure performance.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, production economics, plant ramp-up phases, capacity changes, and productivity initiatives.
- Evaluate financial impacts and return sensitivities for production changes and major capital investments.
- Support monthly close activities, IFRS-based accounting considerations, fixed asset management, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate financial analysis and reporting between U.S. operations and Japan headquarters, including executive presentations.
Requirements
- Onsite work in De Soto, Kansas, United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of FP&A, management accounting, or business finance experience in a U.S. or Japanese manufacturing company.
- Business-level English and native-level Japanese, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in both languages.
- Experience with FP&A and financial reporting, advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or another integrated ERP system.
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.
Nice to have
- USCPA certification and/or Nissho Bookkeeping Level 2 certification.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience influencing change without direct authority and managing competing assignments.
