Assistant Project Manager for Substation Construction

Location: Canton, Mississippi, United States; office attendance required at least four days per week

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager in planning and overseeing substation and power distribution construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, documentation, and progress updates.
• Coordinate stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, procurement, and project deliverables.
• Participate in site inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Identify project risks and support mitigation planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in power distribution, construction, or project management.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Project, P6 Scheduling, and related project management tools.
