LP/Safety Assistant Manager (Loss Prevention)

Location: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center; onsite distribution-center work required

What you will do

• Supervise, lead, assign, train, and coach loss prevention and safety personnel.
• Maintain security across the distribution center by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and access points, and controlling visitor and employee entry.
• Act as the senior department representative when the manager is absent and support productivity, scheduling, retraining, and workflow management.
• Prepare activity, incident, property-damage, theft, and surveillance reports.
• Support new-hire orientations, building tours, emergency response, and liaison activities with police, fire, hazard, poison-control, and other agencies.
• Respond to off-hours alarm calls and cover additional shifts when needed.

Requirements

• At least four years of security experience required; related distribution-center security experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• English communication skills required, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience supervising, training, coaching, and directing subordinate employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and changing weather conditions, stand or walk for extended periods, work irregular hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Knowledge of automated distribution-center workflows.
• Experience with first responder techniques, emergency first aid, and CPR.
