Asset Protection Specialist (Full Time)

Salary: $22.00–$23.00 per hour; the starting rate for new hires is fixed at $22.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Welcome visitors, employees, and vendors while maintaining a safe and secure store environment.
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems, alarms, and other security systems; respond to incidents and minimize risk.
• Apply emergency response procedures, safety regulations, and access-control protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, interventions, investigations, and compliance concerns.
• Support safety audits, shrink-reduction efforts, associate training, and process improvements.
• Cross-train across sales and back-of-house operations and support store needs during peak periods.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in asset protection, security, or a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays according to store needs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Comfort using Google Workspace and learning security and operational systems.
• Professional judgment, discretion, organization, clear communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
