Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Manager III

Location: Onsite at a U.S. fulfillment center; locations include Mount Juliet, TN, Clayton, IN, and Louisville, KY. Position may require travel.

What you will do

• Coordinate and implement safety, loss prevention, food safety, and environmental compliance programs at the fulfillment center.
• Promote safe work practices, train associates, and mentor employees on observed work habits.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and investigations of incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Support compliance with corporate standards, OSHA requirements, applicable laws, and environmental regulations.
• Lead the contract guard service, maintain the OSHA 300 log, and enter safety incident information into the metrics database.
• Partner with operations managers, safety personnel, vendors, consultants, agencies, OSHA, and the EPA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a safety-related field.
• Two to four years of experience handling safety, loss prevention, environmental compliance, and food safety responsibilities.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Emergency response experience with current First Aid and CPR certifications, plus knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to analyze accident data, processes, and machinery and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication, analytical, judgment, partnership, and confidentiality skills.
