Operations Safety Specialist

Salary: $27.23–$42.27 per hour

What you will do

• Deliver instructor-led safety training and informational sessions for groups and individuals.
• Support field operations and safety-focused leadership activities.
• Develop effective methods for safety data analysis and interpret results.
• Identify operational problems and develop efficient, fact-based solutions.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and plan resources to meet deadlines and operational needs.
• Build collaborative relationships and motivate teams around shared safety goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of experience in instructor-led training, field operations, or a related area.
• Presentation, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to build relationships based on trust, respect, and collaboration.
• Onsite availability in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States; remote work is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience in a safety-focused leadership role.
• Certification from ASSP, NSC, OSHA Training Institute, or an accredited college.
• Knowledge of FedEx operations concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
