Electrical Engineers & Electrical Project Engineers – Custom Power Systems

Location: Sheboygan, Wisconsin; onsite Monday–Friday. Limited travel may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring new or transfer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: $76,050–$96,050 per year

What you will do

• Design and integrate electrical systems for custom generator packages, including generator controls, automatic transfer switches, harnesses, wiring, power distribution equipment, and power electronics.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, bills of materials, and engineering documentation.
• Select components and integrate third-party electrical equipment while balancing performance, manufacturability, quality, cost, and reliability.
• Manage multiple engineering projects and support activities from design and prototyping through manufacturing and product launch.
• Collaborate with sales, applications engineering, mechanical engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field service teams.
• Improve engineering processes, design standards, product quality, and customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 2 years of electrical engineering experience; internships and co-op experience are considered.
• Experience designing electrical systems in manufacturing, industrial equipment, power generation, automation, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Authorization to work in the US without requiring new or transfer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with generator controls, power generation equipment, switchgear, automatic transfer switches, power electronics, PLCs, or industrial controls.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software.
• Experience with ERP or PLM systems, new product development, engineered-to-order products, or electrical testing and validation.
