Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

Location: Dynapower, South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite full-time

Base salary: $95,920–$131,890 per year

What you will do

• Design electrical systems from concept and schematic development through drafting, testing, and production release.
• Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and production engineering drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary, manufacturing, operations, quality, field service, supplier, and customer teams.
• Organize feasibility studies, development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, and production launches.
• Support prototyping, pilot builds, production ramp, and design improvements focused on manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
• Participate in failure analysis investigations, engineering evaluations, and preparation of design, test, operating, and procedure documentation.

Requirements

• University degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment and work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong written, oral, presentation, organization, planning, time-management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Eligibility to obtain authorization under ITAR and/or EAR is required; non-US persons may not be eligible.
