What you will do

• Develop electrical designs for critical power systems, ranging from standard to complex configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish product requirements and work alongside CAD designers on engineering projects.
• Create user-friendly operation and maintenance manuals and generate comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Validate product performance through manual testing procedures, testing tools, and database analysis.
• Provide technical support throughout the building process and analyze manufacturing issues to recommend solutions.
• Manage change control and ensure all design specifications are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of electrical design experience, preferably in critical power distribution or switchgear.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and MS Office applications.
• Ability to interpret electrical system diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Knowledge of UL standards (e.g., UL 891, UL 1558, UL 67) is preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite in Henrico, VA.
