Sr Electrical Engineer

Pay range: $73,200–$117,800 per year

What you will do

• Design and integrate electrical hardware, circuitry, power distribution systems, and components for airport ground support equipment.
• Develop electrical architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, circuit designs, and system documentation for high- and low-voltage systems.
• Perform electrical calculations and analysis, including voltage, current draw, conductor sizing, circuit loading, protection selection, and circuit performance.
• Support PLC-based industrial control systems, embedded controls, third-party technology integration, and product partnerships.
• Provide technical support during prototype, pilot, validation, and production builds, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and suppliers while providing guidance to entry-level engineers, designers, and technicians.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial electrical hardware, power distribution systems, electrical schematics, circuit design, and system architecture.
• Experience selecting electrical components such as breakers, fuses, relays, wiring, conductors, and protection devices.
• Experience with electrical calculations and 480V three-phase industrial power systems with low-voltage controls.
• Regular attendance and the ability to balance multiple engineering priorities across product lines.

Nice to have

• Electrical Engineering degree and experience in new product development within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, or IFM PLC platforms and embedded control systems.
• Experience with CAN, SAE J1939, vehicle networking, controls software, or wire harness design.
• Experience with power conversion, industrial equipment, HVAC systems, capital equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment.
• Experience with passenger boarding bridges, pre-conditioned air units, ground power units, or related airport equipment.
