Intermediate Financial Analyst - Regulatory Reporting (Finance)

Location: Hybrid position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, requiring three days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $64,000–$78,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare and consolidate quarterly and annual financial reports, including statutory financial statements, schedules, exhibits, and management reporting packages.
• Extract, compile, consolidate, and analyze financial data from accounting and information systems.
• Participate in monthly accounting processes to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
• Interpret financial transactions and events and identify issues for appropriate stakeholders.
• Develop financial reports and models for forecasting, trending, results analysis, client performance, and compensation reporting.
• Use financial systems and reporting tools to troubleshoot problems, recommend process improvements, and maintain internal control compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of experience with a degree.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple projects, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support is required.
• Immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship is not available.

• Working knowledge of investments, insurance products, or premiums.
