Financial Reporting Analyst (Insurance)

Location: Bloomington, Illinois, United States; full-time onsite position.

Base pay range: $64,800–$89,100 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Prepare timely and accurate internal and external financial statements and related schedules.
• Gather, consolidate, and analyze financial data for quarterly statements, annual statements, state filings, and other regulatory submissions.
• Prepare cash flow statements, supplemental schedules, statement disclosures, and audit report disclosures.
• Develop and maintain queries and worksheets supporting financial reporting, analysis, and data integrity.
• Implement changes required by regulatory requirements and coordinate accounting matters with other departments.
• Work with auditors and complete accurate, timely state filings.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Degree in accounting and/or CPA designation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Ability to use technology to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
• Strong critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, independent-working, and organizational skills.
