Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and budgets.
• Build and analyze financial models, variance analyses, trend reports, and management dashboards.
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, utilization, professional services, managed services, and recurring revenue models.
• Partner with business leaders on new initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, revenue analysis, and expense tracking.
• Improve financial data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and finance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or accounting.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Experience preparing and interpreting financial statements and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, project-based services, or utilization-based business models.
• Experience managing full P&L statements and accounting for staff augmentation businesses.
• Experience with Salesforce, OneStream, Power BI, or similar financial systems and BI tools.
