Forensic Structural Engineer, PE (Missouri area) (57647)

Location: Fully remote, with the ideal candidate based in Missouri or Kansas and supporting cases in the surrounding area. U.S. Persons Only due to ITAR export controls.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct forensic investigations of structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion, premises liability claims, and roof conditions.
• Perform site inspections and collect data to support forensic analysis.
• Apply civil and structural engineering principles to analyze structural issues.
• Prepare clear technical reports describing findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
• Stay current with structural engineering codes, standards, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Must be a U.S. Person, including a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, to comply with ITAR requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Forensic engineering experience.
