Structural Engineer (6+ years)

Location: Newport Beach, California, USA; hybrid work schedule with some flexibility to work from home.

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Perform and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing for a variety of building projects.
• Develop coordinated, high-quality structural drawings with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Lead engineers, designers, and drafters in executing structural designs when required.
• Coordinate communication and design activities with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop toward a senior engineer or project manager position.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings or similar structures; the role targets mid- to senior-level candidates.
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with computer analysis software systems.
• Strong structural analysis, critical thinking, organizational, analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to consult with architectural practices and collaborate within a multidisciplinary office.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience with DSA and/or HCAI projects.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
