Structural Engineer (5-10+ Years)

Location: San Diego, California, USA; hybrid work schedule.

Salary: $95,000–$140,000 USD per year, depending on education, experience, and licensure; paid overtime and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Manage projects and oversee structural analysis, design, and detailing for new and existing structures.
• Coordinate structural drawing packages with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Lead engineers, designers, and drafters in executing structural designs.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination throughout the design process.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of professional experience designing commercial, institutional, and industrial structures.
• Licensed California Civil Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Experience with structural computer analysis software and Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, communication, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in structural engineering.
• Licensed California Structural Engineer (SE).
