Field Service Technician - Northeast (Waterjet)

Location: Based in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New York, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts, within one hour of an international airport; over 75% travel to customer sites Monday–Friday.

Annual base pay: $59,697–$99,494.

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites to install, configure, assemble, test, and repair OMAX Waterjet equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, software, and plumbing issues on installed systems.
• Perform contract maintenance and provide equipment, accessory, operation, maintenance, and software training.
• Maintain detailed digital service records with photos and technical attachments.
• Provide field feedback on product issues and support sales teams during demonstrations and pre-sales visits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of field technical service or related experience.
• At least two years of experience with cutting solutions products.
• Hands-on experience with multimeters, electrical schematics, software utilities, torque wrenches, and dial indicators.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, CNC, and PLC fundamentals, plus strong computer skills.
• Fluent English and a valid driver’s license valid in all 50 states are required.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, push, and grip over 70 pounds and work physically inside and around machinery.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in an electrical or mechanical field.
• Cutting solutions operations or manufacturing assembly experience.
