Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Spokane Valley, Washington, USA; Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm

Compensation: $22.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on maintenance level, skills, experience, education, and training.

What you will do

• Install, repair, inspect, and diagnose industrial production equipment.
• Perform preventive, emergency, and routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and fluid replenishment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using root cause analysis and support plant operations during production issues.
• Maintain forklifts and company vehicles and assist with equipment installations.
• At higher maintenance levels, manage critical spare-parts inventory and obtain vendor quotes.
• Support and train maintenance technicians and coordinate communication between production and engineering.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Maintenance Level I: at least 1 year of repair and maintenance experience, or a related technical school or associate degree.
• Maintenance Level II: at least 3 years of repair experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Maintenance Level III: at least 6 years of repair and maintenance experience, or a technical/associate degree plus 4 years in a maintenance-related field.
• Knowledge of industrial production equipment, facility and equipment drawings, equipment manuals, hand tools, multimeters, and precision tools.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies, communicate problems promptly, and work collaboratively; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

• Welding experience.
• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Technical or associate degree for Maintenance Level II.
