Videojet Field Service Engineer (Manufacturing Equipment)

Location: Home-based in Manchester, New Hampshire, or surrounding areas within a 100-mile radius; regional travel to customer sites is required, with occasional overnight travel.

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 USD per hour, plus incentive pay.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software-related equipment issues.
• Provide ongoing technical support and care for manufacturing customers throughout the Manchester territory.
• Travel regionally during the day, manage planned customer visits, and complete occasional overnight assignments.
• Build trusted customer relationships and provide expert technical guidance.
• Promote service agreements and newer hirify.global.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, lift, stretch, bend, and squat throughout the day.
• Technical degree or relevant military training is preferred; equivalent relevant work experience is accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, computer hardware, and software.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
