IT Internship - Remote (Summer 2027) (Data Science, Analytics, and AI): Supporting data-driven solutions for business challenges through data analysis, reporting, visualization, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies with an accent on data quality, business intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on cleansing and analyzing data, building Power BI or Tableau dashboards, writing SQL queries, and assisting with AI/ML proof-of-concept initiatives.
Location: Remote, Irving, Texas

What you will do
- Support data analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence projects.
- Gather, cleanse, validate, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and actionable business insights.
- Assist with business intelligence dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
- Write and execute SQL queries and support data analysis with Python or R.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives involving machine learning and generative AI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Exposure to data analytics, SQL, AI/ML concepts, Power BI or Tableau, and Python or R.
- Strong oral, written, analytical, problem-solving, and data-communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively with diverse groups.
Nice to have
- Senior-level undergraduate standing is preferred, although other class levels may be considered.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and emerging technologies.
