Data Engineer Intern (September 2026)

What you will do

• Contribute to the research, design, implementation, and testing of a context layer that makes data AI-ready.
• Build and iterate on AI agents in the data engineering codebase, including dbt model generators, SQL reviewers, and documentation writers.
• Identify, validate, and remove unused or outdated legacy tables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to improve data platform instrumentation and observability.
• Document architecture decisions, data model patterns, deprecation rationale, and agent skills.

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field at BAC+4/5 level; final-year students are welcome.
• Practical experience writing SQL, building dbt models, and scripting in Python.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI framework, such as the OpenAI API, LangChain, or a similar tool.
• Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, data quality, lineage, documentation, and reproducibility.
• Ability to research problems, develop structured recommendations, work autonomously, and communicate blockers early.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
