Associate Manager, Category Management (Toys)

Location: Universal City, California, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of four office days per week

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage licensing partnerships and consumer products programs within the North American infant and preschool core toys category.
• Negotiate licensing agreements from initial proposal through execution and manage product, marketing, and contract approval systems.
• Develop new business opportunities and pitch prospective licensing partners.
• Align product line plans and product development with franchise and brand strategies.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budget allocations, and profit-and-loss reporting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Franchise, Retail, Marketing, Product Development, and North America Retail Sales teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of category management experience.
• Experience with licensing, retail, brand building, selling brands, and product development.
• Experience reviewing licensing contracts and negotiating key business terms.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, with financial reporting and revenue forecasting experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Apple Keynote.
• Ability to work from the Universal City office at least four days per week under the current hybrid schedule.
