Manager, Retail Development (Retail)

Location: Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the New York City office; regular travel is required.

Annual base salary: $85,000–$100,000, plus a 10% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Develop and implement consumer product and retail strategies across Specialty, Off-Price, and Craft channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with key buyers and senior retail executives.
• Partner with North America Category Managers and licensees to create pitches and retailer presentations.
• Conduct store visits, competitive analysis, and retail landscape research.
• Monitor licensee distribution, promotional activity, and sales results while providing business insights.
• Identify whitespace categories and new product opportunities, and represent the brand at trade shows and retailer meetings.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in licensing and/or retail development involving character or entertainment intellectual property in a retail environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including required PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Strong organization, collaboration, attention to detail, follow-through, and prioritization skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
