Head of Content (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with presence in the San Francisco or San Jose office 4 days per week; work from home on Tuesdays.

Annual salary: $278,000–$370,000.

What you will do

• Own the content strategy and roadmap across the full buyer journey, from awareness and education through evaluation and retention.
• Set quality standards and run the end-to-end production system, including intake, prioritization, drafting, review, and launch.
• Design AI-assisted content workflows that improve production speed without reducing quality.
• Lead SEO, generative engine optimization, content gap analysis, and on-page optimization.
• Develop Lambda's executive voice and create thought leadership for ML engineers, researchers, enterprises, and data center operators.
• Partner with product marketing and growth on launches, measure content impact, and build the content organization.

Requirements

• Experience leading and growing a content function, with shipped work and attributable results.
• Strong understanding of AI, model releases, machine learning research, and technical concepts such as memory bandwidth.
• Ability to design content architectures and long-term roadmaps while also executing complex individual pieces.
• Experience collaborating with technical product marketers, researchers, engineers, designers, and web marketers.
• Strong editorial judgment, quality standards, systems thinking, and measurement discipline.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco or San Jose office 4 days per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience writing or editing for ML practitioners at an infrastructure company, research lab, or developer tools startup.
• Experience building AI-assisted production workflows for content or other creative work.
• Experience increasing organic and generative search visibility in the AI space.
