Content Strategist, Marketing, Wealth Management

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid work model with time split between the office and home

Salary: $114,700–$194,900 USD base pay annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute thought leadership, lead-generation, sales, social media, digital marketing, media relations, video, client, and internal communications content.
• Partner with marketing leaders, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders on messaging, marketing direction, and creative execution.
• Translate complex financial, investment, and planning concepts into clear, actionable, client-focused content.
• Monitor content performance metrics, manage distribution across platforms, and adjust strategy to support business objectives and brand consistency.
• Develop strategic partner marketing relationships and programs with measurable impact.
• Provide guidance and mentorship, help solve complex problems, and potentially lead functional teams or projects.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in communications, content strategy, or a related discipline.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience creating content for websites, social media, email, digital campaigns, video, and podcasts.
• In-depth understanding of communications and content strategies in financial services or wealth management.
• Strong project management, prioritization, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of wealth management, investment management, financial planning, estate planning, or family office services.
• Familiarity with SEO, content discoverability, and AI-driven search optimization strategies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
