Radiology Technologist (Diagnostic Radiology)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Full-time onsite role with a 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. shift, 40 hours per week, every fourth weekend call rotation, and holiday rotation.

Compensation: $15,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Perform diagnostic radiology examinations, including trauma and orthopedic imaging.
• Review patient medical information and reconcile physician requests with ordered examinations.
• Complete consents and questionnaires, inspect images for quality and documentation, and present completed images to the radiologist.
• Transport patients to and from Immediate Care and provide patient-centered support throughout examinations.
• Use RIS, PACS, and other computer systems while maintaining accurate records and protecting confidential information under HIPAA.
• Apply ALARA radiation-safety practices, use protective equipment, and assist with training or monitoring new personnel.

Requirements

• Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• Eligible for ARRT(R) certification within one year of hire.
• Licensed by the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging, the State of Massachusetts as a Radiologic Technologist, or both, depending on location.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, and operate imaging technology systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate, professional patient care.
