Radiologic Technologist III

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Pay range: $40.53–$51.67 per hour. New external hires may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Perform radiologic procedures independently across emergency, inpatient, outpatient, operating room, portable imaging, and fluoroscopy settings.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination instructions.
• Maintain patient and staff safety while operating radiology equipment and following radiation safety standards.
• Perform equipment quality control and keep work areas clean, stocked, and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines.
• Train and educate students and technologists on procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Radiologic Technologist certification from ARRT.
• Eligibility for a state Radiologic Technologist license.
• Four years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, operate imaging equipment with fine manual dexterity, and lift 30–35 pounds.
