Radiology Technologist

Location: MelroseWakefield Hospital; onsite hospital-based role

Pay range: $36.00–$45.81 per hour

What you will do

• Perform assigned radiologic procedures independently according to hospital policies, radiological standards, and ACR imaging standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, examination steps, and scanner parameters.
• Provide accurate patient instructions and coordinate care with other departments and service lines.
• Maintain patient and staff safety, perform equipment quality control, and keep work areas functional.
• Maintain imaging supplies and request replenishment when needed.
• Train and educate students or technologists on proper procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification and eligibility for a state radiologic technologist license.
• Four years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently, organize priorities, communicate clearly, and provide strong customer service.

Nice to have

• X-ray experience.
