CT Technologist III

Location: Tufts Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role

Pay range: $48.60–$61.96 per hour. New external hires are eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Independently perform CT scans according to institutional policies and radiological standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination instructions.
• Ensure patient and staff safety, establish or verify IV access, and administer IV contrast.
• Perform equipment and device quality control and maintain clean, functional work areas.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain imaging supplies.
• Train and educate students and technologists on procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Radiologic Technologist Certification from ARRT.
• CT certification from ARRT or NMTCB.
• Eligible for a state Radiologic Technologist license.
• Four years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification, knowledge of radiation safety, and the ability to work independently.
