Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite
Employment: Full time
Clearance: U.S. citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance is required.

provides engineering and test services for aerospace and military systems, including the Redstone Test and Engineering Services contract.
What you will do
- Lead planning and execution for developmental and operational tests of integrated aviation weapon systems.
- Monitor safety of flight and data quality in real time through telemetry systems and as an aircraft crewmember.
- Perform flight test engineer duties on flight test aircraft and document flight operations and test developments.
- Provide technical expertise on test methods, perform engineering data reduction and analysis, and prepare reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with experimental test pilots, engineers, military personnel, civilian personnel, contractors, colleagues, and government representatives.
- Support test project management, including schedule and cost considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
- With a bachelor’s degree: 9–12 years of experience, including 6–8 years of project experience.
- With a master’s degree: 7–10 years of combined engineering and technical experience, including 4–6 years of project experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Class III medical certificate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to have
- Rotary-wing or fixed-wing flight test experience.
- PhD in engineering with applicable research, development, test, and evaluation experience supporting military equipment and systems.
- Intermediate or advanced knowledge of aircraft systems such as flight controls, displays, radar, communications, navigation, and related systems.
