Digital Telemetry Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; must be local to the work location. Flexible for occasional telework.

Salary: $1,000 per month.

What you will do

• Design and integrate digital telemetry systems for range safety solutions.
• Review and refine system requirements throughout the lifecycle, maintaining traceability, verification, and compliance.
• Design, build, and test prototype telemetry systems before production deployment.
• Develop automated telemetry analysis systems and networking architectures integrated with military standards.
• Collaborate with mission engineers, platform architects, and government stakeholders on system architectures and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant network engineering experience and demonstrated range safety knowledge.
• Familiarity with MRTFB range safety standards and Range Commanders Council requirements.
• Knowledge of MRTFB operations and flight-test practices for ICBMs and UAVs.
• Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
