Facilities Technician III (Infrastructure)

Location: Kent, WA, United States; onsite facilities work.

Base pay: $29.47–$49.09 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve buildings and grounds through painting, carpentry, minor electrical work, drywall repair, and other skilled facility tasks.
• Prioritize urgent, preventive, and predictive maintenance; document results and create work orders in the maintenance system.
• Diagnose facility and equipment issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and refine processes to reduce unplanned work.
• Support asset assessments, budgeting, contracted services, and project scoping for facility planning.
• Lead facility projects by defining scope, coordinating internal teams and vendors, and ensuring safe, high-quality, sustainable solutions.
• Manage contracted work, communicate recommendations to leadership, and participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in infrastructure.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints.
• Project management skills and compliance with NFPA, OSHA, environmental, and operations and maintenance requirements.

Nice to have

• 5–9 years of experience in carpentry and building trades.
• Forklift or man-lift operation experience.
• Experience with compressed-air systems, mechanical or electrical machinery, and industrial environments.
