Field Technician Maintenance

Salary: $28.00–$32.00 hourly, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments

What you will do

• Troubleshoot water heaters, plumbing, garage doors, irrigation systems, and electrical issues.
• Perform residential repairs involving carpentry, drywall, roofing, and fencing.
• Ensure HVAC systems are operational and complete system tune-ups.
• Maintain equipment in a clean, orderly, and functional condition.
• Update and complete mobile work orders from the maintenance center within required timeframes.
• Engage regularly with vendors and tenants while working at hirify.global properties.

Requirements

• At least two years of residential or property maintenance experience, or five years of experience in lieu of education.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle are required.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Universal EPA Certification or HVAC Type II Certification is required in applicable states.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and OSHA safety methods.
• Proficiency in English, strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and independent judgment.
• Ability to climb A-frame and extension ladders, perform field tasks such as tree trimming and gutter cleaning, maneuver up to 300 pounds, and lift or carry up to 75 pounds to shoulder height.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate degree or technical training certification.
• Experience with Apple iPad and HVAC systems.
